Nathaniel L. “Curly” Wallace

Nathaniel L. “Curly” Wallace was born on April 18, 1937 and was the third child born to the union of Margaret Harper Wallace and James Glen Wallace, Sr.  On November 2, 1962 he married Jane H. Allen Wallace and had one daughter, Peggy Carol Wallace. 

 Curly was educated in the Morristown City School System; attending Judson S. Hill School, Morristown College High School, and West High School.  He served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy (USN) for six years during the Vietnam Conflict.  He served on the USS Enterprise ship during this time.  He was an avid sports fan; who read two or three papers daily to keep abreast of all the sports news.  Curly served the community by being a volunteer coach for the Morristown Hamblen County Recreation Football League.  He retired from National Cash Register (NCR) after 35 years of employment.  He is greatly missed by the family.
