Nick Remond Wallace
Nick Remond Wallace, 71, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at VA Hospital in Johnson City, TN.
Nick went to the Army at the age of 18 and served in Vietnam War. Nick received many decorations, medals, badges after he was wounded, such as the Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Sharpshooter badge. Nick was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his Father; Leonard Wallace, Grandparents; Rev. Joseph (Grace) Carson, and Glen (Margaret)Wallace, Brothers; Joseph Wallace, and Victor Wallace.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Betty Wallace; sister, Davilla (Jackie) McDermott; nephews, Derrick (Amy) Dinkins, Shay (Joy) Wallace, Tony (Acacia) Wallace; great nieces and nephews, Toni Wallace, Mia Dinkins. Kalyssa Dinkins, Jackari Wallace and Quinley Wallace; special cousin Marie Carson and a host of Wallace uncles, aunts and first cousins.
Public viewing Wednesday, December 22, 2021 after 3PM at Dockery – Senter Funeral Home.
Graveside Service Mountain Home National Cemetery , Johnson City , TN with Military Honors. Service is Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 1 PM
Officiating will be Rev. William P. Butler Sr., Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
